baskets from Making A Lather

I thought I had too many baskets from a swap years ago, but, it isn't looking very big when I stitch them together. I can make each row another 3 blocks of 4.
I do like the crazy fabrics, and the idea that 3 quilter's had a hand in making them. Matching them, to sew them, seems a bit fiddly, but worth the effort.


I have tried rug hooking again, and it is getting more comfortable with time. I did get another snowman done for my rug. This one is sporting a hip polka dot scarf.

sewing rows from Making A Lather

I have started putting the rows together for the quiltville garden party quilt. It is set on point, so, some rows go together quickly, and, some take forever. But, each row is so fun. I haven't laid it out, I just grab a block that looks good with the ones in the row, and add it. I try to mix my favorites, and keep an eye for the uglies. I started sewing this quilt 6 months ago, and I have made great progress.

new wool from Making A Lather

I still love rug hooking, but haven't been able to sit for very long at a time to actually hook. But, if we can't do, we shop. Yep, I bought more wool.
The gold is a hard color to find and really important for fall projects. I have a thanksgiving rug and a scarecrow that will use it. The cream with lines is for a snowman on my snowman rug. I want every snowman to be different.
